Lend your support

Please support community-based conservation in Ghana

We get funding direct to small Ghanaian charities which protect wildlife and improve community livelihoods. Relatively small amounts of money can go a very long way in Ghana. We have very low costs, with no staff or offices – unavoidable money transfer fees are the only deductions.

If you have any suggestions or queries, please get in touch. We’d love to hear from you. Email us on pawghana@gmail.com to share fundraising ideas or to discuss how you can donate.

Any help you can offer will be invaluable. Thank you very much on behalf of the wonderful Ghanaian organisations we support, and their beneficiaries – local people, species and habitats.

There are lots of ways you can help:

Please give

Every contribution to community-based conservation in Ghana is invaluable. You can donate very easily, through JustGiving (use the button below), by posting us a cheque (made out to PAW Ghana and sent to us c/o Lenteverne Cottage, Watermill Lane, St Mary's, Isles of Scilly TR21 0NS) or by making a direct bank transfer. Our bank account details are:

Account Name: PAW Ghana

Sort Code: 089299

Account Number: 65879616

The Co-operative Bank PLC

Whatever way you choose to give, we would really appreciate you emailing us at pawghana@gmail.com so we can thank you properly. Thank you very much.

Can you give regularly? Join our 20/20 campaign!

In autumn 2020, our first regular donor surprised and delighted us by pledging £20/month. We immediately thought of what 20 people each giving £20/month would do to help people and wildlife in Ghana. What a 20/20 vision! And that’s how our 20/20 campaign was born.

We know that many people are not in a position to give £20/month – but what are you able to contribute? Everyone who wants to give regularly – any amount and either weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually – is warmly welcomed as a supporter of our 20/20 campaign.

We gratefully accept donations by any method, but the easiest way to give regularly is to set up a Standing Order with your bank. You'll need our bank details to do that:

Account Name: PAW Ghana

Sort Code: 089299

Account Number: 65879616

The Co-operative Bank PLC

When you start giving regularly, please email us at pawghana@gmail.com so we can keep you updated as a 20/20 campaign supporter. Thank you very much indeed.

Can you run a fundraiser for us?

There are any number of ways by which you can raise money for great Ghanaian community-based conservation work! How about putting on a coffee morning or bake sale? Or do you have a challenge in mind for which you could collect sponsorship?

If you want to run your fundraiser online, it’s easy. All you need to do is to go to the PAW Ghana JustGiving page, click the orange “Start fundraising” button and take it from there. Give it a try! You could make a huge difference. Thank you very much.

Shop online and raise funds for brilliant work in Ghana

If you are buying just about anything online, you can collect donations for People and Wildlife Ghana without your shopping costing you a penny more.

We are registered with Amazon Smile, which gives us a 0.5% donation from any Amazon purchases you make. We are also registered with Give As You Live and Easy Fundraising, which allow you to use a wide-range of other online shops or switch your utility providers. Give As You Live or Easy Fundraising often offer higher donation percentages than Amazon Smile.

Why not get into the habit of supporting community-based conservation in Ghana by fundraising for People and Wildlife Ghana every time you shop online? Thank you very much.

Or perhaps you are involved with a Rotary Club or a Charitable Trust which might be willing to contribute? People and Wildlife Ghana trustees are delighted to make presentations on community-based conservation in Ghana and the huge impact made by our supporters.

Whatever idea or opportunity you’ve come up with, please get in touch and let us know who you think we should be speaking to.

Remember People and Wildlife Ghana in your will
